Every microhm at a joint turns into heat.
Copper grows an oxide film that resists current where surfaces touch. Silver's oxide stays thin and conductive. Joint heat = I²R, so the payoff grows with amperage.
Many joint compounds rely on zinc or graphite. Conducto-Lube carries pure silver, roughly 4× the conductivity of zinc, and works from −25 to 410 °F.
